The University of Louisville basketball staff has extended a scholarship offer to 2018 small forward Keldon Johnson, who plays for Huntington, W. Va., Prep School. He's the No. 36 player in the '18 class.

Keldon Johnson, who recently announced he was transferring to Huntington, W. Va., Prep School, now has a new scholarship offer.

The Class of 2018 small forward added the University of Louisville to his growing list of offers on Monday night. He was also offered by Xavier and now has 12 offers after Indiana, Ohio State and Georgia Tech offered in the last month.

Johnson is ranked as the No. 36 player in the '18 class by Scout.com and checks in as the No. 10 small forward.

As a freshman at Park View in South Hill, Va., Johnson broke the Virginia High School League scoring record but suffered a broken ankle prior to his sophomore season. He returned late in the season and had a banner summer with the Boo Williams 17s.

The U of L staff saw Johnson a lot in the summer while also recruiting Boo Williams point guard Matt Coleman.
