University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino said this week's game against No. 2 Florida State is big for the Cardinals' program and several time mentioned recruiting.
The staff is using the game as its biggest recruiting game of the season.
As many as 75 visitors are expected, including a bunch of current Class of 2017 commitments. Cardinal Authority has confirmed 11 of the 20 prospects committed in '17 are expected to be in attendance on Saturday.
"There's a lot of excitement," Petrino said. "We hope to use it in recruiting."
Among those expected is Belfry offensive lineman Cole Bentley, who is the lone in-state commitment at the time for the Cardinals.
Quarterback Malik Cunningham from Montgomery, Ala., is also expected to be at the game, along with West Virginia linebacker Dorian Etheridge, Birmingham, Ala., corner Tadarrius Patterson and Nashville, Tenn., safety Rodney Owens.
Arkansas cornerback Tre Norwood is also expected at the game.
Cardinal Authority will keep updating this story throughout the week.
