Jordan Nwora (Nike/Jon Lopez)

Louisville has offered a scholarship to 2017 shooter Jordan Nwora, who is at Vermont Academy; Kenny Johnson watched him workout this morning

Vermont Academy 2017 shooter Jordan Nwora has landed a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville. The 6-foot-8 Nwora now has two dozen scholarship offers.

University of Louisville assistant basketball coach Kenny Johnson was at Vermont Academy this morning watching several prospects for a workout and obviously liked what he saw with one.

After the workout, Johnson extended a scholarship offer to 2017 forward Jordan Nwora.

The 6-foot-8 Nwora is considered an elite shooter with a quick release.

Nwora has offers from UConn, Auburn, Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Florida, Georgia Tech, Xavier, Memphis, Oregon and several other schools.

Cardinal Authority saw Nwora at the Nike Peach Jam in July and we had this evaluation:

Nwora has a rugged frame and is an elite shooter. He finishes around the basket and can score from anywhere on the floor. Nwora needs to improve his passing; he's not a bad athlete but just lacks a quick first step.
