The world of college football is preparing to descend on the Derby City on Saturday. Multiple ESPN trucks, loaded with equipment to stage its popular Saturday morning program 'College GameDay' have already arrived. Pundits, nationally and locally, are weighing on what will happen at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium this weekend when No. 10 Louisville hosts No. 2 Florida State with ACC and College Football Playoff implications.
The hype seems to grow by the hour, unless you're a member of the Cardinals football program.
"I didn't know there was hype," senior running back Brandon Radcliff said following the team's Tuesday practice. "I just thought it was a regular game."
"They're just another opponent along the road of where we are trying to get to."
Make no mistake thought, Radcliff and his teammates, which have the goal of reaching the ACC Championship and beyond, are taking Saturday's contest very seriously.
"It's probably one of the biggest games that everyone on this team has played in. It's a great experience. When you come to college you want to play in games like this."
Radcliff rushed for a career-best 156 yards on 10 carries in Louisville's 62-28 blowout victory at Syracuse last Friday.
