Louisville coach Rick Pitino watched a couple of prospects at Archbishop Molloy in New York, offering '18 forward Khalid Moore

University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino watched a couple of prospects at Archbishop Molloy in New York, offering '18 forward Khalid Moore and checking out '18 big man Moses Brown - who the Cardinals have already offered.

University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino was in New York on Thursday afternoon recruiting.

Pitino was at Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood, N.Y., to watch Moses Brown, a 2018 center and top 50 player who was offered a scholarship by the Cardinals in August.

Joined by assistant coach Kenny Johnson, Pitino also liked another Molloy player. Junior forward Khalid Moore earned a scholarship offer from Pitino after he watched the workout.

The 6-foot-6 Moore now has nine offers, including Miami, Syracuse, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's, Maryland, Virginia and VCU.

Moore earned the Syracuse offer in August when he attended the Orange Elite Camp with CuseNation.com calling him "arguably the best player at the camp overall."

The 6-foot-11 Brown is ranked as the No. 32 player in the '18 class and the No. 3 center by Scout.com.

Brown also has offers from Maryland, Kansas, Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, St. John's, Seton Hall and UCLA and is also getting interest from Duke.
