Gary, Ind., point guard Dana Evans - one of the top targets on the Louisville women's recruiting list - will make a decision on Tuesday

Gary, Ind., West High School point guard Dana Evans will make a college decision on Tuesday night. Evans is one of the top 10 players in the country and will pick between Louisville, Purdue and Tennessee.

University of Louisville women's basketball coach Jeff Walz will get news from one of his top targets in the Class of 2017 on Tuesday night when Gary, Ind., West Side High School point guard Dana Evans makes her college choice.

The 5-foot-7 Evans will make her pick from between Louisville, Tennessee and Purdue at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night at her high school.

Evans is rated the nation’s top point guard - and the No. 3 player overall - by Prospectsnation.com and she is ranked No. 7 overall and the second-ranked point guard by ESPN.com.

As a junior, Evans averaged 35.8 points a game and played on USA Basketball's gold medal U18 National team this summer. She made an official visit to Louisville earlier this month.

The Cardinals have two commitments already in the '17 class - center Loretta Kakala and guard Lindsey Duvall.

Tennessee picked up a commitment from point guard Anastasia Hayes on Sunday.
