University of Louisville men's basketball coach Rick Pitino and his staff are back on the road recruiting this week.

Pitino will see three prospects in a 24-hour period in three different states.

The Hall of Fame coach began the week on Monday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn., watching Brentwood Academy point guard Darius Garland. The 6-foot-1 Garland has been a top target in the Class of 2018 class for more than a year.

Garland, who was named MVP of the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic last winter at Fairdale, was offered by the Cardinals last winter. He's the No. 12 prospect in the '18 class and is the No. 3 point guard.

On Tuesday morning, Pitino and assistant coach Mike Balado were at Houston Kinkaid High School watching '18 power forward Jaedon Ledee, who is a new name on the U of L radar.

The 6-foot-7 Ledee is the No. 72 prospect in the class.

On Tuesday evening, Pitino is expected to make his way to Aspire Basketball Academy in Arizona. Aspire was co-founded by and is coached by former U of L manager Jeremy Kipness and has several prospects.

The one major target for the Cardinals is 6-foot-10 center Makhtar Gueye, who is in the Class of 2017 and has a 7-foot-1 wing span. Pitino is also likely to check out '18 center Assane Ndiaye.
