No. 7 Louisville (4-1, 2-1) will look to rebound from its loss at Clemson nearly two weeks ago when it welcomes ACC foe Duke (3-3, 0-2) to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Friday night.
During an off week that allowed U of L defensive coordinator Todd Grantham to provide reps to some of the younger athletes on the depth chart, the Cardinals squad also zeroed in on what has made them one of the best in the nation.
"Really, it got down to that we need to continue to improve, continue to work," said Grantham. "Understand that the game coming up is about us playing to our ability."
Trailing ACC Atlantic Division leader Clemson by a game, the Cardinals realize that each league contest is just as important as the next and with plenty of regular season remaining, reaching the College Football Playoff still remains a possibility.
"Everything that we want to achieve is still in front of us, but its a grind, and its work, and you have to continue to push yourself and get ready for the next challenge," said Grantham.
