Cardinal Authority has video from Louisville's first Red v White scrimmage

Louisville held its initial public scrimmage on Wednesday evening, with the first of two Red v White scrimmages scheduled for Rick Pitino's team.

Playing in front of 7,896, the Red team outlasted a late rally by the White team for a 105-102 victory.

Graduate transfer Tony Hicks paced the Red team with 26 points on 10 of 19 shooting.  Highlighted by a 4 of 6 effort beyond the three-point arc, Donovan Mitchell added 22 points for the winning squad.  Freshman V.J. King scored 19 points, with Ray Spalding adding 18 points, 15 rebounds and a game-high five blocks.  Anas Mahmoud contributed 10 points and seven rebounds.

Quinten Snider connected on 6 of 8 of his three-point attempts to help lead all scorers with 27 points.  Jaylen Johnson scored 21 points and led all with 20 rebounds, with Deng Adel adding 14 points. Matz Stockman had 10 points and nine rebounds.  Ryan McMahon came off the bench to score 18 points on 6 of 8 three-point shooting.
