One of the newest members of the Scout 300 is making an official visit at Louisville this weekend.
Fresh off a five touchdown performance last weekend, Russ Yeast was elevated into the Scout 300 on Wednesday, checking in at No. 271 nationally. This weekend he'll experience the environment of a Louisville home game.
The Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove athlete has been a frequent visitor at Louisville throughout the recruiting process. The son of Craig Yeast, a standout at Kentucky from 1995-98, and a former Wildcat commitment, the Scout.com four-star prospect will join the group of recruits making an unofficial visit No. 7 Louisville's home ACC contest against NC State on Saturday afternoon.
In addition to Louisville, Yeast also holds a scholarship offer from Alabama, Auburn, Iowa, Nebraska, Mississippi and others.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Yeast projects as either a wide receiver or defensive back on the college level, is rated as the No. 23 overall athlete prospect nationally and third in the Midwest Region.
