Georgia stars like Cards

RECRUITING EXCLUSIVE -- Top Georgia high school football standouts Kisan Flakes and DeMarcus Johnson like Cards.

Athletic Georgia quarterback likes Cards, names leader

Kisan Flakes is a good looking quarterback prospect out of Lovejoy High School in the Peach State that could play one of several positions on the next level. He lists six schools, and has a leader.

"I like a lot of places but Mississippi State really stands out. I went to their football camp with my teammates, and it was really nice. They're in the lead right now. Others I like are Cincinnati, Louisville, Michigan, West Virginia, and Maryland. West Virginia and Maryland have offered me a scholarship, along with Mississippi State."

Kisan is originally from Buffalo, New York and his brother Julius Page plays basketball for the Pitt Panthers, but he prefers to stay in the south. Why?

"It's too cold up there man. You know how it is," Kisan joked.

Flakes hopes to have a decision sometime in the middle of the season and with a 3.4 GPA and 1000 SAT score already on the books, he should have no trouble qualifying.

Top Georgia Running Back lists seven

Demarcus Johnson is a running back prospect out of Banneker High School in College Park, GA. He has no favorites, but lists seven schools.

"I like Auburn, Clemson, Middle Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisville, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech. I've visited Auburn, Clemson, Middle Tennessee, Louisville, and Vanderbilt as well. I have no offers."

What are Demarcus goals for the upcoming year?

"I want to rush for 2,000 yards and score 28 touchdowns. I also want to win the state title, and most of all stay healthy."

Johnson, who ran for 1,044 yards on 162 carries last season, hopes to have a decision around the middle of the year.
