Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino said he won't watch Tuesday's College Football Playoff Rankings show; Cards expected in top five

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino said he won't watch Tuesday's College Football Playoff Rankings show. His Cardinals are expected in top five of the inaugural rankings.

The first College Football Playoff rankings of the season will be released tonight and barring any major upset the University of Louisville football team will likely be among the top six teams in the poll.

The Cardinals (7-1) have been one of the most talked-about teams in the country this season and the fans are excited to see where the team ends up in the first poll. The top four teams in the final poll in December will play in the national semifinals in January.

But don't expect Bobby Petrino to be fretting over the poll.

"I don't have any expectations," Petrino said. "I'll be practicing and working on video. Let me know how it comes out, would you?"

Petrino was asked again by a reporter about the fact that he won't watch the show on ESPN.

"No, I'm not watching," he said. "We'll be working."

The show is televised tonight at 7 o'clock on ESPN.
