Louisville (7-1, 5-1) will load up its gear for a second consecutive week, this time making the trek to Chestnut Hill, Mass., to face ACC foe Boston College (4-4, 1-4). on Saturday at noon.
Defensively, the Cardinals will face an Eagle offense that relies heavily upon the run. The Eagles run the ball more than 60 percent of the time, gaining an average of 170 yards per game. They'll use their determination to run to set up potential big pass plays, something the Cardinals defense will need to prepare for.
"They're going to test your mental and physical toughness," U of L defensive coordinator Todd Grantham said.
"Anytime that you face a team that runs the ball that much, you're going to see play-action passes and things down the field, which your eye control and disciple become important and critical."
