Louisville drops to No. 11 in both the AP and Coaches football polls after loss to Houston

After a 36-10 loss to Houston on Thursday night, the University of Louisville football team took a tumble out of the top 10 of both the Associated Press and the Amway Coaches poll this week.

The Cardinals fell eight spots in both polls from No. 3 to No. 11.

U of L is also No. 12 in the Football Writers Association of America poll after the loss that dropped the Cardinals to 9-2.

The Cardinals are out of the top 10 of the coaches' ranking for the first time since Week 2, when they were No. 15.

U of L also expects a drop in the College Football Playoff Rankins that come out Tuesday.

The Cardinals will host Kentucky on Saturday at noon in Senior Day and are favored by 24.5 points.
