Kemari Averett, TE, Atlanta Grady - Averett saw his season come to an end with a 24-21 loss to Woodland in the second round of the 5-A playoffs. He finished the season with 56 catches for 755 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Cole Bentley, OL, Belfry - Bentley helped Belfry move into the semifinals of the Class 3-A playoffs after a 43-12 victory over Russell. Belfry plays at Corbin on Friday night.

Malik Clark, LB, Milledgeville, Ga., Baldwin - Season complete; Baldwin finished 4-7.

Malik Cunningham, QB, Montgomery, Ala., Park Crossing - Cunningham threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing 16 times for 77 yards and one more TD in a 54-51 win over Blount in the 6-A quarterfinals.

Dorian Etheridge, LB, Charleston, W. Va., Capital - Etheridge had two catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns and also starred on defense in a 33-7 win over Jefferson. Capital plays Spring Valley in the 3-A state semifinals.

Mitch Hall, LS, Clayton, N.C., High School - Season complete; Clayton finished 6-6.

Anthony Johnson, S, Hollywood, Fla., Chaminade Prep - Johnson helped Chaminade beat Oxbridge Academy 30-13 in the Class 3-A state quarterfinals.

Josh Johnson, WR, College Park, Ga., Woodward Academy - Johnson had five catches for 106 yards and one TD - a 36-yard reception - in a 49-8 win over Northwest Whitfield in the Class 4-A second round.

Kam Jones, LB, Suwanee, Ga., Peachtree Ridge - Season complete; Peachtree Ridge finished 6-6.

Justin Marshall, WR, Georgia Sports Prep Academy - Marshall helped Georgia Sports Prep Academy win the East Atlantic Conference Championship.

Tre Norwood, CB, Fort Smith, Ark., Northside - Dropped a 31-10 decision to Bentonville in the Class 7-A state quarterfinals; season complete at 10-2.

Rodney Owens, S, Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth - Lost 21-17 to Montgomery Bell in the playoffs; Ensworth’s season is complete at 8-4 and Owens finished with 750 yards receiving, 50 tackles and 7 TDs.

Corey Reed, WR, Roswell, Ga. - Roswell beat Peachtree Ridge 29-12.

Joey Palmer, OL, Butler County Community College - Season complete; Butler finished 7-4.

Poutasi Poutasi, OL, Las Vegas Desert Pines - Poutasi helped Desert Pines the NIAA Class 3-A state title.

Kaheem Roach, CB, Miramar, Fla. - Season complete; Miramar finished 8-3.

TreSean Smith, S, Cincinnati LaSalle - Smith had an eight-yard TD run in a 45-14 win over Miamisburg for a 13th consecutive playoff victory. LaSalle is now in the Division II state semifinals.

Lyn Strange, S, Tallahassee, Fla., North Florida Christian - Strange had four tackles in a 32-14 loss to University Christian; season complete at 8-4.

Jabreel Stephens, DE, Seffner, Fla., Armwood - Armwood lost 18-15 to Lake Gibson; season complete at 10-2. Stephens finished with eight sacks and 54 tackles.

Gerrik Vollmer, OL, Watertown, Conn., The Taft School - Season complete; Taft School finished 3-5.

Colin Wilson, RB, Green Cove Springs, Fla., Clay - Wilson had 12 carries for 61 yards and one touchdown as Clay rolled to a 42-14 win over Baker County in the 5-A regional finals.

Russ Yeast, Ath, Greenwood, Ind., Center Grove - Yeast ran for 174 yards and four touchdowns as Center Grove trounced Ben Davis 42-22 and rolled into the Class 6-A state championship.
