The University of Louisville football team has put the loss at Houston behind them and is focused on one thing: Kentucky.
The Cardinals offense met with the media on Tuesday night and co-offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway said a rivalry game makes it easier for the Cardinals to forget about the loss at Houston.
"It was a hard one to get over, but we watched the film and the focus is on the game this weekend," Galloway said. "Little things and turning the ball over and missing assignments will get you beat against a good team. We addressed them and have moved on.
". . . I don't think they care too much for us and the feeling is mutual."
U of L tight end Cole Hikutini said the U of L seniors want to stay undefeated against Kentucky. The Cardinals have won five straight meetings in the Governor's Cup game.
"We're just focused on whooping them and that's basically all it is," Hikutini said. "We don't really talk about it, we're just going to go out and do it. . . . I'm going to put everything out on Saturday; every senior is going to do that. It's our last home game and we all hate UK."
