Louisville checks in on long snapper

Clayton, N.C., long snapper Mitch Hall has been committed to the University of Louisville football program since October and plans on signing scholarship papers with the Cardinals in February.

On Monday, the Cardinals checked in with Hall.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound Hall said an in-home visit from special teams coach Tony Grantham went "just great" and reported the two are trying to work out a date for his official visit in January.

"He was just filling us in on all the "need to knows" and we discussed (visit) dates," Hall said. "We're going to further look into them and let him know soon. I'm very excited."

Hall is rated as the No. 2 long snapper in the country and will play in the U.S. Army All-American game in January.

Talented Florida safety lands Louisville offer

West Palm Beach, Fla., Palm Beach Lakes safety Gurvan Hall has landed a scholarship offer from the U of L staff.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Hall is a four-star prospect in the Class of 2018 with over 20 offers, including Miami, Florida State, Florida, Duke, West Virginia and plenty of others.

U of L offers Murfreesboro, Tenn., pair

A pair of standouts from Murfreesboro, Tenn., Siegel have landed offers from Louisville.

The Cardinals extended offers to 2018 offensive tackle Maxwell Iyama and 2019 defensive end standout Joseph Anderson. Both players have landed multiple other offers.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound Iyama has been on U of L's campus several times and also has offers from Tennessee, Memphis and South Carolina. The 6-4, 250-pound Anderson adds the U of L offer to a list that includes LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Memphis and Vanderbilt.

Louisville offers Georgia OL commit

Franklin, Tenn., 2018 offensive lineman Max Wray has landed an offer from the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Wray has been committed to Georgia since late March and now has 20-plus offers on the table.

Wray is the No. 64 player in the '18 class in the rankings. He checks in as the No. 9 offensive tackle in the country.

Top '18 WR gets Louisville offer

St. Louis Christian Brothers College High School four-star wide receiver Kamryn Babb is a top 300 player in the Class of 2018 and received a visit and offer from the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Babb is ranked as the No. 202 player in the '18 class.

Babb is the top-ranked receiver in Missouri and the Cardinals are expected to start having more of a recruiting base in that state.
