Jordon Scott, a former Florida Gators commit and the fifth-ranked defensive tackle in the Sunshine State, has secured an official visit for this weekend with the University of Louisville.
The 6-foot-1, 350-pound Scott had an in-home visit from U of L assistant coach Nick Petrino on Wednesday night and finalized the visit.
Scott had recently released his top three schools: Louisville, Mississippi and Florida State.
The 14th ranked defensive tackle in the South, Scott is also expected to visit Ole Miss next weekend. He's the No. 44 tackle in the nation in the '17 class and had over 20 scholarship offers before the commitment to Florida.
Scott re-opened the process earlier this month.
The Scout.com analysis says:
It's challenging to find another 350-pound lineman that possesses the combination of athleticism, power, effort and quickness like Scott. He plays with a mean streak and is physical at the point of attack. He also does a nice job of bull rushing his opponent with impressive power and force. Scott has the frame to clog up the interior of the line, but it's his athletic ability and pursuit to the football for someone of his stature that really gets coaches talking.
