Tallahassee North Florida Christian safety Lyn Strange committed to Louisville following his performance at the Cardinals 'Light Up the Ville' camp in mid-July and has been looking forward to his return trip since.
Strange, a Scout.com three-star prospect, will make the journey back to the Derby City this weekend where he'll be among a group of athletes making their official visits with Louisville.
"I'm really excited about it," he told Cardinal Authority on Thursday. "I've been looking forward to taking this official visit since I committed."
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Strange is rated among the nation's top 100 safety prospects. On Thursday evening, U of L assistant Kolby Smith, also a Tallahassee native, made an in-home visit with the future Cardinal.
Strange said the visit "went well" and that they discussed his future.
"He said they expect a lot out of me," Strange said. "They believe in me and my ability and if I come in and do what they think I can, my future is limitless."
Strange committed to Louisville over scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Illiniois, Indiana, North Carolina, Syracuse and a host of others.
"I love everything about it," he said when he committed.
