The University of Louisville football team has added commitment No. 23 to the Class of 2017.
Nashville, Tenn., Hillsboro defensive tackle Ben Hutch has picked the Cardinals over Texas A&M and Penn State during a ceremony at high high school on Tuesday morning.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Hutch has been on U of L's campus multiple times, including for two games this season and the school's Friday Nights Lights camp in July. He is scheduled for an official visit to U of L on Jan. 22.
U of L offensive line coach Chris Klenakis is the main recruiter for Hutch, who is being recruited at U of L for the defensive line. Klenakis made an in-home visit to see Hutch on Sunday night to seal the deal.
Hutch joins Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth safety Rodney Owens as the second commitment in the class from Tennessee.
