University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson was the only player from the Cardinals' roster to make it on the first team of the initial All-American squad announced for this season.
Jackson was named first-team quarterback, while Stacy Thomas was named first-team All-American linebacker in the Pro Football Focus All-American teams that were released on Tuesday afternoon.
Louisville's Jaire Alexander was named to the second team as a cornerback.
Jackson is the school's first Heisman Trophy finalist after 51 total touchdowns on the season. He is also a finalist for the Maxwell Award and Davey O'Brein Award, which will be given on Thursday night.
Thomas was second on the team with 74 tackles this season.
