Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson and linebacker Stacy Thomas have been named first-team All-Americans by Pro Football Focus

University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson and linebacker Stacy Thomas have been named first-team All-Americans by Pro Football Focus. Jaire Alexander was named to the second team.

University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson was the only player from the Cardinals' roster to make it on the first team of the initial All-American squad announced for this season.

Jackson was named first-team quarterback, while Stacy Thomas was named first-team All-American linebacker in the Pro Football Focus All-American teams that were released on Tuesday afternoon.

Louisville's Jaire Alexander was named to the second team as a cornerback.

Jackson is the school's first Heisman Trophy finalist after 51 total touchdowns on the season. He is also a finalist for the Maxwell Award and Davey O'Brein Award, which will be given on Thursday night.

Thomas was second on the team with 74 tackles this season.
