Among the five prospects that made an official visit with Louisville last weekend was Cardinals safety commit Lyn Strange.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian product committed to Louisville after participating in the program's 'Light Up the Ville' camp in July. His return trip to the Derby City, which included time visiting with coaches and players, but also touring the campus and seeing parts of the city.
"The visit went great," he told Cardinal Authority. "I most definitely made the right choice."
It won't be long until Strange will return to begin his U of L career. On pace to graduate high school following the fall semester, Strange has already scheduled his return to become a mid-year transfer and get an early start on prepping for his freshman season.
"It gives me an advantage to learn all defensive back positions," said Strange, who is scheduled to arrive on January 7.
A Scout.com three-star prospect who ranks among the nation's top 100 safety prospects, Strange also did a bit of recruiting himself while visiting with others and was impressed with linebacker Bradley Jennings Jr., a current Miami pledge.
" Brad Jennings, he's a great linebacker," he said. "He'd fit well and he can learn from three exceptional linebackers at Louisville."
