Louisville's Lamar Jackson wins the Maxwell Award as the nation's top college football player

Another award for Lamar Jackson.

The University of Louisville sophomore quarterback was named National Player of the Year on Thursday night when he was presented the Maxwell Award during the Home Depot College Football Awards Show.

Jackson also won the Walter Camp Award and has received numerous other national honors.

"I've got butterflies," Jackson said with a laugh. "I'm shocked right now. I never dreamed of winning this."

Jackson has 51 total touchdowns as a sophomore for the Cardinals. He threw for 3,390 yards and 1,538 yards rushing.
