It was his first experience at a Louisville vs. Kentucky basketball game.
And New Albany, Ind., five-star 2018 guard Romeo Langford left the KFC Yum Center after Louisville's 73-70 victory over its in-state rival Wildcats very impressed with the Cardinals and the atmosphere.
In a text to Scout.com, Langford talked about the atmosphere being "crazy."
"I really loved the atmosphere," Langford said. "It was just crazy."
Langford arrived shortly before the game started, sat behind the U of L bench with some family and several other U of L recruits, including 2017 signee Malik Williams and another '18 top target Courtney Ramey.
Williams told Cardinal Authority that he chatted with Langford, who was "having a really good time."
The 6-foot-3 Langford, the No. 3 ranked player in the '18 class in the Scout.com rankings, has been a regular on U of L's campus for the last year. He has made several unofficial visits, including a couple of other games.
Langford, who on Tuesday night became the all-time leading scorer in New Albany history, scored 34 points on Thursday night to help the Bulldogs to a 5-2 record with a win over Evansville Bosse.
He now has 1,490 career points seven games into his junior season.
