Louisville junior scored career-high 22 points in win over Kentucky

Cardinals junior guard Quentin Snider selected as the ACC Player of the Week

Louisville junior guard Quentin Snider was honored as the ACC Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

A product of Louisville Ballard, Snider led the Cardinals to a 73-70 victory over rival Kentucky last week with a career-high 22 points.  Snider also matched his career-high with six rebounds and handed out a game-best five assists in the win over the then 6th-ranked Wildcats.

"I just think he kept attacking the rim, attacking the rim, and that was good and obviously, he made shots," Pitino said following the Cardinals win. "Quentin played a big-time game."

Snider, a co-captain for this year's squad, is averaging 11.9 points and 3.9 assists per game this season.
