Louisville drops a 29-9 decision to LSU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. - Louisville drops a 29-9 decision to LSU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on Saturday.

Louisville led 3-0 but that was about the only bright spot for the Cardinals.

LSU sophomore Derrius Guice ran for 138 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown in the third quarter, and caught a TD pass to help LSU down the Cardinals 29-9 in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on Saturday at Camping World Stadium.

The LSU offense was solid but the defense was sensational.

Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson was sacked eight times, including a safety for an eight-yard loss late in the second quarter. Jackson completed just 10 of 27 passes for 153 yards and rushed 26 times for 33 yards.

Louisville dropped to 9-4 on the season, losing three straight to end the season.
