University of Louisville commitment Mitch Hall will take center stage when he participates in the U.S. Army All-American football game on Saturday in San Antonio, Tx.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Hall is considered one of the best long snappers in the country and has been committed to the Cardinals since October. He'll sign a letter-of-intent in February and will be a scholarship player.
Hall is ranked as the No. 2 long snapper in the nation by Chris Sailer kicking and Rubio Long Snapping, which are two organizations that train and rate the specialty players in college football.
When he committed Hall said he knows he's "very fortunate" to be among a select group of long snappers to earn scholarships. According to the Scout.com database, in 2016, only six long snappers nationally signed a national letter of intent.
The native of Clayton, N.C., will play on the East team in the All-American game.
While he had an offer to play at Memphis, Hall also had been offered preferred walk-on spots from Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina State and Penn State.
