Louisville's football staff is slated to host some of the top in-state younger kids on Saturday at the basketball game

Louisville's football staff is slated to host some of the top in-state younger kids on Saturday at the basketball game against Duke.

The University of Louisville football staff will host 13 official visitors this weekend and two current commitments on unofficial visits.

But that's not all of the guests the Cardinals will host.

Nine of the top in-state prospects in the Class of 2018 and '19 will be on unofficial visits to the U of L campus, including a visit to the KFC Yum Center for the game against Duke, on Saturday.

Among the group will be arguably three of the top four '18 prospects in the state.

Bowling Green linebacker Justice Dingle, Trinity wide receiver Rondale Moore and Waggener defensive tackle Tahj Rice are the three '18 targets that will be visiting campus. All three have been on campus several times, including for games last fall.

Dingle and Rice both already hold scholarship offers from U of L, while the staff was at Trinity on Friday to see Moore.

The '19 stars include Trinity defensive end Stephen Herron, who has a Louisville offer along with nine others. Herron helped Trinity to the 6-A state title and was named a first-team All-State selection and on Friday added offers from Mississippi State and Purdue.

South Warren defensive lineman Jacob Warren also has an offer from U of L and will visit, along with Christian Academy stars Milton Wright and Austin Carr, Moore defensive end J.J. Weaver and Doss linebacker Shawnkel Knight-Goff.

Wright, Weaver and Knight-Goff also have offers from the Cardinals.

Other than those attending there's only one other prospect statewide in the '18 and one in the '19 class with U of L offers.
