Scout300 2018 running back Lyn-J Dixon from Butler, Ga., has landed a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville.

The Louisville football staff isn't finished with the Class of 2017 just yet, but the Cardinals have been working hard on the '18 class.

And on Tuesday night, Louisville extended an offer to one of the top running backs in the '18 class.

Butler, Ga., Taylor County running back Lyn-J Dixon confirmed that Louisville is offer No. 8 for him. The other offers are from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.

Dixon is the No. 25 ranked running back in the '18 class and checks in as the No. 284 player overall.

In three years at Taylor County, Dixon has rushed for 4,310 yards and 58 touchdowns. As a junior, Dixon carried for 1,698 yards and 31 touchdowns and averaged 9.2 yards a carry.
