There's been a lot of chatter about Scout300 defensive tackle Aaron Odom in the last week.
The four-star defensive tackle from Jackson, Miss., flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to the University of Louisville on Jan. 19 just a few days after he had made an official visit to the Cardinals' campus.
But last week Odom still made an official visit to Starkville, Miss.
On Thursday night, Odom confirmed to Cardinal Authority that the Mississippi State staff stopped by his high school earlier in the day and he informed them he would be signing with Louisville.
"I'm 100 percent committed," Odom said. "I'm signing with Louisville."
Odom said U of L defensive line coach L.D. Scott was "big" in the recruiting process, noting the two have "a great relationship."
"He's a great guy and was a big reason" for the commitment to Louisville, Odom said.
Odom said he would sign with Louisville next Wednesday.
