University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino said on Sunday that recruiting was "going great."
Pitino might need to revise that statement to unreal after the news on Friday.
Webster Groves, Mo., five-star point guard Courtney Ramey, ranked as the No. 19 player in the Class of 2018, has given Pitino a verbal commitment. He's the fourth-ranked point guard in the '18 class.
Pitino has been to see Ramey several times this season. He was at Ramey's game on Friday night with assistant coaches Mike Balado and David Padgett when he scored 35 points.
He picked the Cardinals over Florida, Kansas State and Creighton.
Ramey is the second commitment in the '18 class, joining four-star guard Anfernee Simons.
