BIO: A three-star prospect and one of the top 20 safeties in the Sunshine State, Kaheem Roach had 64 tackles, four tackles for a loss and two interceptions as a senior. He also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery as a senior when he was named honorable mention All-County. Roach also stars on the Miramar track and field team.

RECRUITMENT: Roach picked Louisville over offers from Auburn, Illinois, Bowling Green, LSU and Temple.
WHY U OF L: Roach said the Cardinals were his dream school; his cousin, Gerod Holliman, starred for the Cardinals and established a new NCAA record for interceptions in a single season his last year at U of L.
EXPECTED MAJOR: Engineer Management
EVALUATION: Roach covers a lot of ground and is one of the more versatile of the secondary additions for the Cardinals. He has really good ball skills and had double digit batted balls during his final two years. He gets to the ball.
QUOTABLE: "It's actually my dream school," Roach said. "I talk to coach from time to time and we have a really good connection and he made it feel like home. I really like the program and the city."
BOTTOM LINE: Roach could end up being the most under valued signee in the class. He has he ability because of his versatility to see the field early on and will play a lot of snaps during his career.
