Louisville's football staff is off to a fast start in the Class of 2018; the Cardinals already have four verbal commitments in the class.
The ink is just drying on the letters-of-intent from the Class of 2017.
But already there's talk of the Class of 2018 and the University of Louisville football staff is off to a strong start.
The Cardinals already have four verbal commitments in the class. In at least the last five years, U of L hasn't had one verbal commitment until the spring before the signing day.
All four of the commitments are from the state of Florida.
Two of the commitments are safety prospects: Jamal Anderson from South Dade Senior in Homestead, Fla., and Trenell Troutman from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Tallahassee, Fla., Rickards athlete Marcus Riley was the first commitment in the class, while St. Petersburg Farragut wide receiver Zion Roland are the other commitments.
The Cardinals are expecting to sign 25 in the '18 class.
