Louisville has offered three in-state prospects in the Class of 2018, but the staff is likely to target more from the Bluegrass State

The University of Louisville football staff will target some of the top players in the state of Kentucky in the Class of 2018. Here's a look at the top targets, including the three prospects already offered.

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino and his staff pulled in one of the state's top players - Cole Bentley - in the Class of 2017. And Petrino says he wants to continue to go after the best players in the Bluegrass.

So, the Cardinals will target the best players in the Class of 2018.

Louisville has already offered three prospects in the class, including Waggener defensive lineman Tahj Rice and cornerback Jairus Brents and Bowling Green linebacker Justice Dingle.

Rice is the 15th ranked defensive tackle in the country and the No. 172 ranked player overall. He's considered one of the top targets on the board the Cardinals in all of the class.

Brents is also a four-star prospect and checks in at No. 149, while Dingle has held an offer from U of L since before he moved to Bowling Green last summer from Tennessee.

U of L will watch a few other targets and could offer them in the future.

Trinity wide receiver Rondale Moore has visited several times. He only played in four games for the Shamrocks as a junior but caught 20 passes for 464 yards and nine TDs.

Doss offensive lineman Charles Allen was solid at camp last summer and has been to campus, while Christian County quarterback Kolbe Langhi was a standout at U of L's Quarterback Camp last summer.

Doss athlete Terez Traynor, Simon Kenton offensive lineman Colton Williams and Bowling Green wide receiver Ziyon Kenner are also ones to watch for the Cardinals.
