One of the Derby City's top talents in the 2018 recruiting class made another visit with the hometown program on Saturday afternoon.
Doss offensive lineman Charles Allen was among a group of prospects making an unofficial visit with Louisville, attending the school's basketball game at the KFC Yum! Center.
"The visit was great," he told Cardinal Authority. "The intensity, the vibe, and just the all-around feel is amazing. Louisville fans are so underrated, but I loved it. I had a lot of fun and got to catch up with some coaches."
The game, a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Miami, was just the latest experience on a U of L visit that Allen says is "never a dull moment."
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive guard is an early Scout.com three-star prospect who already holds scholarship offers from Western Kentucky, Purdue and Miami (Oh.). That list is certainly to expand and may eventually include the hometown Cardinals.
"It's getting better and better," he said of the recruiting process.
Allen will make another visit with the Cardinals program for Junior Day, plus has a trip to check out Miami (Oh.) later this month.
