Seven former University of Louisville football players have been invited to participate in the NFL Combine.
A total of 330 players will participate in the event to be held Feb. 28-March 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Only 11 other school's had more invitees to the combine than the Cardinals.
The invitees included defensive end Devonte Fields, safety Josh Harvey-Clemons, tight end Cole Hikutini, long snapper Colin Holba, linebacker Keith Kelsey and wide receivers Jamari Staples and James Quick.
The surprise was defensive lineman DeAngelo Brown not getting an invite.
U of L sent 11 to the NFL Combine last year.
