Clairton, Pa., 2018 defensive tackle Devin Danielson checked out the Louisville campus last weekend. Danielson was on campus for Junior Day festivities and Cardinal Authority has this recap.

It's no secret the University of Louisville football team will need to bring in several defensive tackles in the Class of 2018.

The Cardinals have offered a bunch and will check out even more prospects for that position in the coming months.

On Saturday, U of L hosted several defensive line prospects, including a rising star from the state of Pennsylvania. Clairton, Pa., Thomas Jefferson High School defensive tackle Devin Danielson was on campus for U of L's Junior Day.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Danielson was offered by the Cardinals earlier this month and was impressed with the trip.

"I had a great time down there," Danielson reports. "I liked it a lot. I really hope I get a chance to get back down there."

Danielson's offer sheet is now in double digits, including U of L, Pittsburgh, UCLA, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Syracuse, Iowa State, Virginia and Toledo. Danielson helped Thomas Jefferson to the 4-A WPIAL championship last season.
