Scout.com has released a new top 60 basketball prospects for the Class of 2019 and several prime University of Louisville targets are listed among the ranked prospects.
The U of L staff has offered four of the top 10 prospects and are recruiting close to a dozen of the top 60.
U of L coach Rick Pitino and his staff have already spent a lot of time in the recruitment of No. 10 ranked Matthew Hurt. The 6-foot-9 Hurt is from Rochester, Minn., and his father is a longtime Louisville fan.
No. 1 R.J. Barrett, No. 3 Balsa Koprivica and No. 6 Vernon Carey have also been offered and are top U of L targets.
The Cardinals are also recruiting New York shooting guard Cole Anthony, who is ranked at No. 23.
Snellville, Ga., small forward Elias King checks in at No. 47 and Trinity shooting guard David Johnson is No. 49. The Cardinals are recruiting both prospects but have yet to offer.
