No. 7 Louisville received a 25-point outing from sophomore guard Donovan Mitchell and three others scored in double figures to lead the Cardinals to an 88-68 win over visiting Syracuse on Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore forward Ray Spalding equaled a career-high with 18 points, while pulling down 11 rebounds to notch his second career double-double. Deng Adel added 17 points and Quentin Snider contributed 12 in the 20-point win.
Defensively, the Cardinals held the Orange to 36 percent shooting, including just 28 percent from beyond the three-point arc. U of L also forced 16 turnovers and had eight steals.

Louisville shot 57 percent from the floor, including 45 percent from three-point. The Cardinals out-scored the Orange 38-22 in the paint.
