The University of Louisville women's basketball team takes a five-game winning streak into this week's ACC Tournament and will be the No. 5 seed in the 15-team field.
The tournament starts on Wednesday in Conway, S.C., but the Cardinals get a bye into the second round.
Louisville will play the winner of the Virginia Tech-Clemson game on Thursday morning at 11 a.m., with the winner taking on No. 4 seed North Carolina State on Friday in the 11 a.m. quarterfinal.
The Cardinals beat Clemson 60-46 on Jan. 26 on the road and Virginia Tech 88-70 on Feb. 9 on the road. North Carolina State edged U of L 72-70 on Feb. 2 in overtime at the KFC Yum Center.
Notre Dame, which is the No. 1 seed for the fourth consecutive year in the tournament, No. 8 Virginia and No. 9 Wake Forest are also in the upper bracket of the tournament.
Florida State is the No. 2 seed and Duke is the No. 3 seed.
The event is being played at the HTC Center in Conway, which holds 3,370 fans.
