The University of Louisville will get a visit this weekend from four-star center Tyrone Sampson, who is a Scout300 member from Detroit, Mich. He is expected to be one of about 50 prospects on campus for Junior Day.

One of the top centers in the Class of 2018 is expected on the University of Louisville campus this weekend.

Scout.com has confirmed that Detroit East English Village center Tyrone Sampson - who is the No. 2 ranked center in the country and the No. 264 player overall in the '18 class - will attend U of L's Junior Day on Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 304-pound Sampson was a standout last month at the Elite Big Man Camp in Wixom, Mich. He already has more than a dozen offers, including his latest from Minnesota, Kentucky, Syracuse and Virginia.

Sampson was also named MVP at the Best of the Midwest event recently.

Scout.com analyst Allen Trieu said this of Sampson after the Best of the Midwest:

"When he gets locked on, it's over. He's very strong and almost always is balanced and has his feet under him. One rep, he tripped and lost, other than that, he stoned everyone else. I've seen him for three years now and the amount of 1-1 reps I've seen him lose is still in the single digits."
