Marquez McCray will attend the Cardinals Junior Day on Saturday

Philadelphia (Penn.) St. Joseph's Prep quarterback Marquez McCray will visit Louisville this weekend

The quarterback for one of the nation's top performing teams in 2016 will be among the large group of recruits visiting Louisville for the program's Junior Day on Saturday.

Philadelphia (Penn.) St. Joseph's Prep signal caller Marquez McCray helped guide his team to a perfect 14-0 season and the PIAA 6A Championship last fall. The success has college coaches taking a close look at the 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect.  Syracuse, Connecticut and Boston College are all expressing an interest, as is Louisville.

"I will be visiting from Philadelphia with my mom and grandpa," he confirmed with Cardinal Authority.

His hope is learn more about the program and school, as well as further improve his relationship with the coaching staff.

"I'd just like to experience the atmosphere around the football team and the campus," he said. "Also, I'd like to get to talk to the coaches and learn a little bit about them and what to expect."
