Columbia (Tenn.) Spring Hill receiver Justin Oden claims three favorites following visit at Louisville

Columbia (Tenn.) Spring Hill wide receiver Justin Oden picked up a scholarship offer from Louisville on Thursday and a day later made the trip to visit the Cardinals program.

"It was great," he said of his time at Louisville, adding that the offer was something that he had been hoping for.  "I knew it was a great football program under coach Petrino and I was very happy about it because I've sort of been waiting on the offer."

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect spent time touring the program facilities and visiting with members of the staff during his visit, both of which left a strong impression.  The experience also has him anticipating a return trip in the coming months.

"The facilities most definitely and how welcoming the coaches were," he said.  "I'm not quite sure but I do plan on going back up there for sure."

In addition to the Cardinals, Oden also holds scholarship offers from Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, Rutgers, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.  While he's enjoying the recruiting process, he's already looking forward to its conclusion.

"I mean it's cool, but I'll most definitely be glad when this all over," he said.

With an eye on the end of the process, Oden has three schools that climbed to the top.

"Memphis, Louisville and Ole Miss," he said.
