Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth star Wesley Walker was offered by Louisville on Thursday; made a visit and was impressed by the campus on Friday

Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth star Wesley Walker was offered by Louisville on Thursday and then on Friday made a visit and was impressed by the campus and the staff.

The University of Louisville football staff had some luck with Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth High School last season, signing safety Rodney Owens from the Class of 2017.

Now, the Cardinals are trying to get back into that school.

U of L has offered a pair of stars from Ensworth, including 2019 cornerback Welsley Walker who confirmed for Cardinal Authority that he was impressed by the Cardinals' campus and staff during a Friday visit.

"It was an exciting offer," said Walker, who was offered by U of L on Thursday. "On the visit, I was very impressed by the facilities they have and the ones they have being built. The coaches showed me a lot of love."

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Walker added an offer from Notre Dame on Friday and now has a total of seven, including LSU and Tennessee.
