The recruiting process continues to heat up for Knoxville (Tenn.) Farragut wide receiver Braden Collins. That process saw the Tennessee All-State performer make a stop in Louisville on Saturday to attend the Cardinals Junior Day.
"I thought it was a great school," he told Cardinal Authority.
During his time in the Derby City, Collins spent time learning about the expanding football facilities, the school's academic programs and visiting with members of the coaching staff.
"I was very impressed with it all," he said. "What impressed me was how much the coaches really cared about you how great they were."
Collins visit won't be his last interaction with the Cardinals staff. U of L wide receivers coach Lonnie Galloway will make the trek to eastern Tennessee.
"The wide receiver coach told me that he is going to visit me in April," he said.
As a junior, Collins hauled in 68 receptions for 1,242 yards and 17 touchdowns to garner All-Region and All-State honors.
His group of scholarship offers includes Coastal Carolina, Navy, Ohio, Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky.
