Louisville sophomore Donovan Mitchell has been named to the five-member All-ACC first team.

University of Louisville sophomore guard Donovan Mitchell has been named to the All-ACC first team.

In a vote of the leagues coaches and media members, Mitchell was the first player selected to the team. Duke's Luke Kennard, North Carolina's Justin Jackson, Wake Forest's John Collins and Notre Dame's Bonzie Colson.

Mitchell is the first player from U of L to ever receive All-ACC honors since the Cardinals joined the league.

Mitchell, who was also on the ACC's all-defensive team, averaged 15.9 points a game this season for the Cardinals. Over the last 18 games, Mitchell is averaging 19.2 points per game and has made 55-of-132 3-point field goal attempts (.417).

North Carolina's Justin Jackson was named Player of the Year, while Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner was named Coach of the Year.
