Gurley, Ala., Madison County High School linebacker Matthew Flint has nine scholarship offers already on the table and has been on several visits, including a recent trip to Mississippi for a Junior Day.
But the 6-foot, 210-pound Flint said he saw something he "really liked a lot" at another Junior Day on Saturday.
Flint attended the University of Louisville's Junior Day and said he was "impressed" with the total package at U of L.
"I talked to L.D. Scott my recruiting coordinator, and coach (Peter) Sirmon (defensive coordinator) and (Cort) Dennison (co-secondary coach), just trying to familiarize myself with the whole defensive personnel. I even had a bus ride conversation with the DBs coach (Lorenzo Ward).
"They are doing a lot of rebuilding there so some stuff was torn down, but I was there last year and loved the facilities. So any improvements they make from what they already had can only be a positive."
Flint had over a 1,000 yards of offense and a 100 tackles for Madison Central this past season.
He holds offers from Auburn, Memphis, Arkansas State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Alabama, UAB and Western Kentucky.
