Purvis, Miss., prospect C.J. Bolar is among the top receiver prospects in the Magnolia State and has the scholarship offers to back up that type of claim.
On Wednesday, Louisville became the first ACC program to extend a scholarship offer to join a group that is a dozen strong and includes Memphis, Mississippi State and Southern Miss.
"I'm blessed for the opportunity," he said shortly after receiving the news of the offer.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Bolar has been impressed by what he's seen from the Cardinals program in recent years.
"I like how they get their play-makers the ball and how they compete at such a high level," he said.
As a junior, Bolar caught 40 passes for 732 yards and 12 touchdowns, while also proving to be a difference-maker defense by grabbing six interceptions from the defensive back position.
In no rush to make a decision, Bolar remains open to all that are expressing an interest and is enjoying the recruiting process.
"It's exciting how everyone is showing attention," he said, adding that why he claims no favorites that "Louisville is definitely in the top five."
