Christian County athlete Cory Trice is one of the top players in the Class of 2018 in Western Kentucky.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Trice is starting to see his recruitment pick up.
Trice made a recent Junior Day visit to Louisville and said his offers include Purdue, UT-Martin, Murray State, Austin Peay, Southern Illinois and Eastern Kentucky. He said besides U of L he's also getting interest from Michigan State, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky and Toledo.
As a junior, Trice had four interceptions and two fumble recoveries in eight games. He also scored three TDs and carried the ball for 106 yards for the Colonels. His main position is safety.
Trice said he had a blast at U of L's Junior Day and is likely to check out the Cardinals again.
"They really like my film and want me to come to their camp (this summer)," Trice said. "I like Louisville a lot.
"They are always working hard, having fun and they really make you feel at home. They're also always motivating you to do your best both on and off of the field. I like that a lot."
