University of Louisville women's basketball signee Lindsey Duvall has been named Kentucky Miss Basketball.
Duvall picked up the award on Tuesday night at a dinner in Lexington. She was one of the frontrunners all season and ended up winning the award over Butler's Jaelynn Penn and several other candidates.
The 5-foot-10 Duvall, who signed with the Cardinals in November, averaged 23.6 points and 8.3 rebounds a game as a senior. She helped Bullitt East to a 27-8 record and the Chargers lost to Butler in the Sixth Region title game.
Duvall hit 47.8 percent from the field, including 40.8 percent from three-point range.
She's ranked as the No. 22 player in the Class of 2017 by ESPN.com and finished her career with 2,957 career points.
